🧀 Cheesy Pull-Apart Bread Bake with Tomatoes & Peppers

Golden, cheesy, soft in the middle, and packed with fresh tomato and green pepper—perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a savory snack!
Ingredients
1 loaf soft bread or brioche, cut into cubes
4 eggs
1 cup (240 ml) milk
1½ cups shredded mozzarella
½ cup shredded cheddar
2–3 tomatoes, sliced
1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
2 tbsp melted butter
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp paprika
1 tbsp chopped parsley or green onion
Optional: cooked chicken, turkey, sausage, or beef
Instructions
Prepare the bread: Cut the bread into chunky cubes and place them in a greased baking dish.
Make the egg mixture: Whisk eggs, milk, melted butter, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Add cheese: Sprinkle half of the mozzarella and cheddar over the bread.
Pour: Pour the egg mixture evenly over everything. Gently press the bread down so it absorbs the liquid.
Top: Add tomato slices, green pepper, remaining cheese, and parsley.
Rest: Let it sit for 10–15 minutes so the bread absorbs the mixture.
Bake: Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 30–40 minutes, until puffed, golden brown, and the center is set.
Serve: Let it cool for 5 minutes, then pull apart and enjoy warm. 🧀🍅🌶️
Tip: For an extra-golden top, broil/grill for the final 2–3 minutes, watching carefully.
